Connect

Establish secure connections to your data sources and create pipelines that unify your healthcare data. Connect brings together clinical, operational, and financial systems into a single platform for Master Data Management.

Why Connect Matters

Healthcare organizations operate with data spread across dozens of systems—EHRs, claims platforms, scheduling tools, and more. Without a unified connection layer, you’re left with fragmented views of patients, providers, and operations. skyMDM’s Connect module solves this by:
  • Providing secure, managed connections to your data warehouses
  • Supporting enterprise platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake
  • Enabling real-time data pipelines that keep your master data current

What You Can Do

Create Pipelines

Build data pipelines that connect your source systems to the MDM platform with configurable data flows.

Manage Connections

Securely store and manage credentials for Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, and other data platforms.

Select Source Tables

Browse your data catalogs and select the tables you want to include in your MDM process.

Monitor Pipeline Health

Track pipeline status, execution history, and data freshness from a central dashboard.

Test Before You Run

Validate a connection when you save it, and re-test at any time when credentials change.

Retire Connections Safely

Deleting a connection also clears the pipeline tables and jobs that depended on it, leaving nothing orphaned behind.

Key Capabilities

Multi-Platform Support

Connect to leading data platforms including Databricks Unity Catalog, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric. Each connection type is optimized for its platform’s unique capabilities: Databricks and Snowflake are browsed through their own catalogs, while Fabric connections read Lakehouse and Warehouse tables over the SQL analytics endpoint and write results back to OneLake.

Secure Credential Management

Connection secrets are held in a managed key vault and referenced, never stored, alongside the connection record. The interface shows a masked placeholder in place of a saved secret, so credentials are never displayed back to a user or carried in an API response. Connection testing validates access before pipelines run.

Pipeline Orchestration

Create pipelines that define the complete data journey—from source selection through cleaning, validation, matching, and merging.

Catalog Discovery

Automatically discover available catalogs, schemas, and tables from your connected data sources. No manual configuration required. The source table picker lists only genuine source data — the cleaned, mapped, matched, and golden tables that skyMDM itself writes are filtered out, so a later stage’s output can never be selected as an input by mistake.

Multi-Table Pipelines

A pipeline can carry many source tables at once, each tracked with its own stage status and row count. Clean, Validate, Enrich, Map, Match, and Merge all read the table list from the pipeline, so adding a new source brings it into every downstream stage.

Business Impact

Faster Integration

Connect new data sources in minutes instead of weeks with pre-built connectors.

Reduced Risk

Secure credential management and tenant isolation protect sensitive data.

Unified View

Bring all your data sources together for a complete picture of your operations.
